March 24 (Monday) –MOU Signing Between ICAO Member Organizations

(Ankara, Türkiye)



□ Ho-dong Kang, Chairman of NACF has signed Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Adem Darimla, Chairman, of ACC and Cafer Yuksel, Chairman of OR-KOOP on the 24th. 

□ Goal of the partnership is to drive the growth of Korean agricultural products and the entrance of NH-branded products to Türkiye; it reads that the two organizations should share information on the realm of agricultural laws and cooperatives, foster export of Korean products such as rice and ginseng to Türkiye cooperatives, and introduction of NH seed company to Türkiye markets.

□ EXCOM started off with presentation of regional project, approval of 2025 activities plan, and ended with the report of Türkiye Earthquake recovery efforts.

□ As 2025 marks the International Year of Cooperatives, Ho-dong Kang, Chairman of NACF, has announced a Seoul forum under the theme of ‘Cooperation among Cooperatives’ and a training program for CEO of member organizations.

□ In the morning, ICAO and FAO Türkiye co-hosted a seminar about strengthening women’s leadership in the agricultural field and sustainable agricultural development. FAO Türkiye and professors from the University of Ankara were present to deliver their speech.
