NACF Celebrates Ghanaian Student Issifu Mubarack's Admission into NACF-Operated Agricultural College

Seoul, South Korea - The National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) recently hosted a celebration event to honor the admission of Ghanaian student Issifu Mubarack into the NACF-operated Agricultural College. The event, which took place in March 2024, welcomed distinguished attendees including Mr. Lee Jong-wook, Executive Vice President of NACF, Mr. Lee Wook, Secretary General of the International Cooperative Alliance's Agriculture Organization (ICAO), and Mr. Park Jae Min, General Manager at NACF. The occasion underscored the collective support that played a pivotal role in Issifu’s academic journey in South Korea.

Issifu Mubarack, who was recommended by the Ghana Cooperative Council (GCC) and arrived in Korea in 2023, benefited greatly from NACF's ongoing care and support. After completing a year-long intensive Korean language course, he successfully commenced his three-year academic pursuit at the NACF-operated Agricultural College.

Highlighting the significance of NACF’s support, Mr. Lee Jong-wook shared, "The continuous care and attention from NACF have been instrumental in enabling Issifu Mubarack to gain admission into the Agricultural College. This underscores the profound effect our support can have."

Mr. Lee Jong-wook further encouraged Issifu to diligently focus on his studies and health, with the hope of him evolving into a specialist in the cooperative sector. NACF reaffirmed its commitment to offering continued support not only to Issifu but also to other international students, with the aim of reinforcing the global cooperative network and promoting sustainable development.

The celebration not only marked the beginning of Issifu Mubarack’s new chapter at the Agricultural College but also reasserted NACF's dedication to aiding students from developing countries, sharing the values of cooperation, and encouraging sustainable progress.
